Q: What operating systems does the Matrix2 support?
A: Windows 98/2000/Me and XP. It also supports Linux, Unix, and
Mac OS.
Q: What is the maximum video resolution that the Matrix2
KVM support?
A: The advanced video circuit in the Matrix2 KVM support a maximum
resolution of 2048x1536 @ 85Hz.
When you are daisy chaining the
resolution will be lower.
Q: What video bandwidth does the Matrix2 support?
A: The Matrix2 supports 400MHz video bandwidth
Q: How far can a USB Computer be from the Matrix2 KVM?
A: When using the USB connection between your KVM and computer,
we recommend that your computer be no more than 15 feet(5 meters).
Q: Does the Mattrix2 KVM support Microsoft Intellimouse?
A: The Matrix2 support mice from Microsoft, Logitech, Kensington,
etc., and Belkin.
It will support the mouse itself
but it may not support their drivers. Use the Belkin Optical Mouse
software from our web site.
Q: Does the Matrix2 support wireless mice and keyboards?
A: Yes it will support wireless mice and keyboards
Q: How do I switch between ports?
A: You can switch ports two ways. One is by using the specially
designed hot keys and the other is by pushing the direct access
port selectors on the front of the unit.
Q: Does the Matrix2 require a power supply?
A: Yes, the Matrix2 KVM requires a 12 V DC, 1000mA power adapter
to function properly.
Q: How long is the warranty for the Matrix2 KVM?
A: The Matrix2 comes wiht a 5-year limited warranty.
Q: Does the Matrix2 come with Flash Upgrade capabilities?
A: Yes it has flash upgrade capabilities.
Q: I am having a problem daisy chaining my Matrix 2 units,
what could be wrong?
A: The DIP switch settings have been revised from what is in the
