  We are pleased to announce the new brand for HP packaged services to replace the current Supportpack and CarePaq brands. The new brand name is HP Care Pack and will start to appear within some HP literature with immediate effect although packaged services products will not change for some time.

Over the coming months we will communicate the status of Care Pack product introductions and it is therefore more important than ever that you read these Bulletins to ensure that you are up-to-date.

  The all-new Product and Price Guide that is currently being distributed includes the best features from both pre-merger HP and Compaq guides and lists all products currently available from the new HP. There is a Care Pack section within the new guide that details all the services available.

HP Care Pack replaces Compaq CarePaq, Compaq CarePaq Priority Services, HP SupportPack, CATS/Option (including e versions).

All products within this section of the guide have a Care Pack description but the part numbers are currently identical to the respective Supportpack or CarePaq. Please note: Whilst the products are described as Care Packs within the guide the product shipped to the customer will remain unchanged for some months to come i.e. they will still be Supportpacks & CarePaqs.

  Ultimately, all existing products will be replaced by a Care Pack branded product. Information on these introductions and timelines will be made available through future Bulletins.

  The PlusPack website price list search facility now includes CarePaq products. As both brands will keep their existing part numbers, when you are searching by part number, you will need to use the CarePaq part number e.g. 176266-022 or Supportpack product number e.g. H2799A/E. To search by product description, simply type the description (or part of it) e.g. ProLiant or Vectra.
